The counseling ministry at Northstar is provided by Rev. David Holt, M. A. David provides professional help to those in need through his calling as a "pastoral minister" to families and individuals. After answering God's call upon his life in 1988, David has served in various counseling positions over the years. David has earned a B. S. in Psychology from Cumberland College, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Master of arts in Education from Southwestern Seminary, and PhD studies in Human Ecology at the University of Tennessee.
It is our desire to reach into our surrounding world and offer affordable counseling with highly trained professional pastoral counselors and family therapists. We want to be a vessel in which Gods love, mercy, compassion, comfort, and hope can flow and in the end- change lives for the Kingdom of God.
