Sarah has been in ministry with children for over seven years.  After much prayer, she felt God calling her to NorthStar’s Preschool Ministry in December 2007.  She has a great passion for providing basic foundational truths about God to our young ones.  Sarah strives for the children to deeply know the Father not only as their Creator, but also as someone who loves them and desires a close, life-long friendship.  It is her prayer that each preschooler grasps these key truths  before they leave the preschool ministry.  She believes that Biblical truths learned in the preschool can have great impact on future decisions for Christ.

Sarah graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.  She has spent the past few years teaching third grade.  She has been married for six year to her supportive husband, Richard.  The couple recently celebrated the birth of their first son, Foster. They are very excited about the plans God has for them at NorthStar!
