Scott Cagle, founder and senior pastor of Northstar Church,  is deeply devoted to the proclamation of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. As senior pastor, he has a passion for reaching people and leading them into Christ-like maturity.

A life-long learner, Scott has earned  an undergraduate degree from Carson Newman College and a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.), from The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Scott's desire is for every believer at NorthStar to become involved in national and international ministries. He actively demonstrates this by participating in various missions and ministry projects, both at home and overseas.  Scott and his wife Melissa have been in ministry together for 23 years. Their daughter Erin is a junior at Grace Christian Academy and their son Caleb is a freshman at the University of Tennessee.
