Welcome to the Student Page! If you are here, then you want to know more about the super fantastic world of NorthStar Youth Ministries! We, here in youth, exist to glorify God by seeking His will by studying His Word together. We are all about enjoying God’s grace as we meet the difficulties and issues of being a student in Knoxville head-on, as a group. When you come to visit us, you can expect a smattering of ridiculousness, healthy biblical teaching, engaging worship and a community seeking God together.
Wednesday Night Worship Experience
Wednesday Nights at NorthStar is when we get together as a youth ministry and worship! We do some dumb stuff with games and videos, some people think this is the best part, but no, there’s even more. We have worship music led by our own worship staff, which is pretty fancy, then we move into a hearty look at what God’s Word has to say about our lives. Through it all, we are a youth GROUP. And by that we mean that we are in it together. Come and experience it for yourself most every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00.
Get Connected in a Life Group
Wednesday nights can be kind of big. Sometimes we get a little lost in the crowd, just when you start to feel that way Life Groups come exploding on the scene. Life Groups are small groups of youth broken down by age, so that means 12th graders can’t beat up the little 7th graders. Our Life Groups are lead by our very own youth workers. Really, the youth workers are the reason to go to the Life Groups because they want to be involved in the lives of each of the students who come to the Life Groups. They are the means of pastoral care for the students on a personal level. You just have to get involved in a Life Group.
