Worship Passionately
The Worship Ministry at NorthStar is at the core of all we do. When we come together in worship, we praise God for what He has done and is doing in our lives and the lives of others. It is our passion to just get real with our worship every Sunday.
God desires for his people to search after Him with total passion. Through His word, he has instructed us to do this with all of our hearts. Each of our Sunday morning worship experiences is simply the body of Christ, together in one place, and with crying out with one voice to glorify God. Everyone is encouraged to get involved and open their hearts to be renewed and uplifted.
A Lifestyle
Northstar is committed to worship. But it's more than music and messages. Worship really is a lifestyle. We want to take what we experience in our hearts in a worship gathering setting, and live that out in our lives each day. We believe worship is not a service or a style. It's a way of life.
Getting Involved
There are many areas of Worship Ministry at NorthStar, and many ways you can be involved in leading and learning worship. You can become a part of each of these teams by simply auditioning with our Worship Pastor Staff. Call our Church office or email Worship Pastor David Vogel at DTVOGEL@MAC.COM
Northstar Band - We are always looking for new band members. First and foremost, we require those who have a desire to get involved with the worship ministry to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, in order to maintain a level of excellence, we require a short audition process with the Worship Pastor. Lastly, we do require a small amount of practice commitment. This ensures that we as a team of musicians are all in unity together.
Northstar Worship Team - Singers are also a very vital part of today's worship services. It is their job to lead the hearts of the congregation into the core of the worship service. In essence, those who sing from stage on Sunday mornings are all Worship Leaders. In order to maintain a level of excellence, we require a short audition process with the Worship Pastor for those who have a desire to sing on any given Sunday morning. Lastly, we do require a small amount of practice commitment. This ensures that we as a team of singers are all in unity together.
